Me in my Me Too

Today Nana and Poppy came in for a visit. Mommy had Anna's bridal shower so me, daddy, nana and poppy went to central park for a walk. It was so hot outside that I spent some time on the sprinklers to cool off. It was really fun! One of my new favorite things to do is watch birds. I will follow one all over the place and turn and twist my body so I can see where it will go and what it is doing!!!

Later, when mommy got home, we went for an early dinner. I got to use my new Me Too chair that attaches to the table. It was fun to sit at the same level as everyone. I loved flirting with the waitress and turning around to follow her wherever she went!

Eight Months Today

We had a quiet morning inside today and I got to take two long naps in my crib. Mommy and I did lots of playing on the floor and we danced to music, which is my new favorite thing to do!!

In the afternoon, we met Danielle and baby Sofia , who is now 2 months old, in central park. We hung out on a blanket under a tree. I had so much fun practicing my pretend laugh, drinking water out of a poland spring bottle, picking grass and playing with my toys. I took a quick nap under a tree. When I woke up, Sofia's grandmother was there too. So fun to meet her.

Then Grandma came for a visit. So fun. She always has me laughing. We played for a while then we went to dinner at Tony's. I got to stay up way later than usual (for the second night in a row)!

When we got home, I took a bath and then went straight to bed, whew, busy day!!

Rockin' Out With Daddy

How fun! Daddy came to Rockin' with Andy today. It was so fun to have him see what we do every week. Daddy even knew the words to the songs because we listen to the CD that Andy gave us all of the time!

It didn't start till 5:00 so that the Daddy's can come. However, this meant that I got to stay up VERY late...7:45. WOW!

Get Up, Stand Up

This morning, I crawled over to the couch and looked up. I thought, I'll just try and see what happens. So, I put one hand on the edge of the couch, then the other. I lifted one leg and pushed....I was standing up all by myself!!! YAY!!

In the afternoon we went over to Caroline and Lauren's house with Dayna and Haley for a swim in the pool. It was much warmer in there today. I really liked swimming. I kicked my legs as mom held me under my arms. I even put my face in the water a few times all on my own. I floated on my back too. So much fun.

Leisure Sunday

Fun times today, went to the park with Doug, Eve and Kylee, and mom and dad of course. We had a picnic, played ball, took a swing on the swings and even got wet in the sprinklers....took a nap under a tree and played some more...this is the life!

First Crawl

Big day today....huge! I crawled 4 steps off of my belly for the first time. I was going for the remote, which I love, and did it! Daddy was so excited. He called mommy into the room to watch!!

Later, we went to a BBQ at Dara and Mike's new house on LI. Dara is going to have a little baby in October and we are so excited for herand Mike!

A Dip in the Pool

Today we went over to Lauren and Caroline's house for a picnic in their outside area. Shannon and Jake came too. It was a beautiful afternoon. We sat on the grass out on the third floor and it was just like we were in central park!! After lunch, we went for a quick dip in the pool. It was surely quick because the water was very cold...BRRRR.....
